FAQ

Questions guests ask before booking

Straight answers about first visits, deposits, color corrections, extension care and everything in between.

What should I expect on my first visit?+

Arrive about five minutes early. We start with a seated style consult — your hair history, what you've tried, your upkeep budget and how much time you spend styling at home. Then we confirm the plan and pricing before any color or scissors come out. New guests also receive a first-visit welcome package.

Do you require a deposit?+

For appointments over two hours — balayage, blonding, extensions, braiding and color corrections — we take a $50 deposit by phone. It applies directly to your service total and is fully transferable if you reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice.

Do you cut children's hair?+

Yes. We take children ages 5 and up for cuts and trims, booked in quieter mid-week slots so the studio stays calm. A parent or guardian needs to stay in the studio for the appointment.

Can you fix a color that went wrong?+

Usually, yes. Color corrections start with a short phone chat or a photo so we can gauge the starting point. Some corrections finish in one long session; others are staged across two or three visits to protect the integrity of your hair. We'll tell you which before you commit.

How do I care for extensions between visits?+

Sulfate-free shampoo, conditioner from mid-length down, a loose braid at night, and a soft loop brush twice daily. Hand-tied wefts need a move-up every 6–8 weeks; tape-ins every 6–10 weeks. We walk you through all of it at your install and send you home with a written routine.

How long do braids and protective styles last?+

Knotless braids and twists typically last 4–6 weeks with proper scalp care. We braid with gentle tension — if anything feels tight when you leave, tell us and we'll adjust it on the spot rather than letting you 'wait it out.'

Is parking easy?+

Yes — free parking sits directly outside the studio, with step-free access from the lot to the front door and an accessible restroom inside. If you need assistance getting in, mention it when you call and a stylist will meet you at the door.

Do you sell gift cards?+

We do, in any amount, and they never expire. Call the studio and we can set one up over the phone and email or mail it to your recipient.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Life happens — just give us 48 hours' notice and there's no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours or no-shows are billed at 50% of the reserved service, because that chair time was held just for you.

How soon can I get an appointment?+

Most guests are seen within the same week. Saturdays and late-afternoon Fridays book out furthest, so call early if you need one of those. We also keep a short-notice list for cancellations.

New guests welcome

Still have a question?

A quick phone call answers most things faster than a form ever will. We're happy to talk through your hair before you book.
